ARTIST OF THE MONTH SUBMISSION FORM

Thank you for expressing interest in Octane’s Artist of the Month program. Read over the requirements on this page before filling out the submission form. Completed forms will automatically be emailed to the Art & Events coordinator. If your work is a good fit for Octane, a representative will contact you via the information you have provided. Please, understand that Octane books artists several months in advance. It may take a month or two for a representative to contact you. If you are an artist without a permanent Atlanta address, please indicate this under the ‘Additional Information’ heading. Again, thank you for your interest.

CONTACT INFORMATION

The most successful shows are the ones that have been properly promoted. Part of this promotion includes providing information about the work and the artist. Price tags, business cards, flyers, and posters are a great way to attract potential buyers and other galleries. As the Artist of the Month, you will be required to advertise for your opening (see below), and provide contact information for the rest of the month.

ART OPENING

Each Artist of the Month must have an opening. Typically, Octane hosts the opening on the first or second Friday of the month. This event will be promoted via our website, and through several social networking sites. You are not required to spend any money for the opening. However, we strongly encourage our artists to provide us with sample images (in JPEG format), and produce their own flyers and/or business cards for potential buyers.

CONTRACT

By submitting this form you agree to meet all the requirements listed above. In addition, your submission serves as an acknowledgement that while Octane will try to protect your work, neither the company nor its employees are liable for any damage that may occur to it while on display. Furthermore, you understand that Octane takes no portion of the money you receive from displayed pieces. You are solely responsible for all sales. However, any sample images provided by you may be used by Octane to promote our Artist of the Month program. If you do not agree to any of the terms listed on this page, do not submit the form.
